Who is Noel James?
Noel James, 50, is a comedian from Pontardawe in Wales.
He studied Physics at The University of Manchester.
Noel's mum was a part-time piano teacher and died suddenly when Noel was 20.
His style of comedy is surreal stand-up with plenty of odd jokes and wordplay.
On his Just The Tonic comedian profile he writes "My name is Infact Noel James, although I never pronounce the Infact…"
When is Britain's Got Talent 2018 on ITV?
Following its return on April 14, Britain's Got Talent will air every Saturday night.
Noel James progressed to the live semi-finals which begin the week commencing Monday, May 28.
As well as holding auditions around Britain, this year the producers went to scout talent in Benidorm, Spain.
The show features several rounds of auditions which culminate in live shows aired on TV.
Where else has Noel James performed?
Noel has performed at many of the major comedy clubs and festivals including Glastonbury, Reading and Edinburgh.
He has also appeared on TV, on Packing Them in on Channel 4 as well as The Stand-up Show on BBC.
Noel also co-wrote the Giamocs - which means pranks.
The Welsh-language political comedy show was shown on channel S4C.
Who is on the BGT judging panel?
Simon Cowell returns to lead the judging panel once again.
Last year's fellow judges - David Walliams, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon - are all back too.
These judges have been in place for the past six series, with Amanda and Simon remaining constant throughout the entire eleven-series run.
For the first four series, there were only three judges, with Piers Morgan in the third chair.
Michael McIntyre and David Hasselhoff then joined the team for 2011, but they only lasted one series.
