Paul Danan lined up for Celebs Go Dating so he can ‘finally find love’
PAUL Danan is being lined up for the next series of Celebs Go Dating.
The 39-year-old, who famously appeared on the first series of Love Island, is looking to finally find true love and is hoping the popular E4 show will be the answer.
A TV insider told The Sun Online: “Paul is reality TV gold and is of course no stranger to trying to find love in front of the nation.
“He’s been single for a while now and is really open to finding ‘the one’. His dream girl would be someone like fellow former Hollyoaks star Emma Rigby.”
They added: “The next series of the show is going to bigger and better than ever and bosses know Paul would be a real hit with the viewers…and the ladies!”
The last series of show, which features dating expert Nadia Essex, saw the likes of Gemma Collins, Paul's CBB co-star Sam Thompson and Tallia Storm go on a series of dates.
The former Hollyoaks actor, who played Sol on the soap between 1997 and 2001, has a son called DeNiro Benjamin Danan, who was born in 2015.
Paul was last seen on TV in Celebrity Big Brother last summer, alongside the likes of Amelia Lily and Sarah Harding.
During that time he revealed he had a girlfriend, who was believed to be the mother of his son, but they have since split.
The star is currently appearing in new theatre production, Worth A Flutter, alongside Lucy Pinder and Michael Head.
The hard-hitting play features broken marriages, loss and domestic violence as it follows two men competing for the same woman’s affections.
Paul plays a lothario who is sleeping with his best friend’s fiancée and he previously admitted he was nervous about treading the boards at The Hope Theatre, London.
He told BANG Showbiz: "With films and TV you can go again, you can do a take two but with this you can't so it's a little bit daunting.
"I'm a bit apprehensive about it all, but once it's memorised I can really play with it.
"If I wasn't nervous there would be something wrong."
