Celebrity Big Brother are already in talks with Queer Eye star Jonathan Van Ness and are ‘desperate’ for him to appear on ‘last ever show’
The breakout star of the Netflix revival is top priority for bosses of the Channel 5 reality show
CELEBRITY Big Brother bosses are desperate to sprinkle a bit of Fab Five magic onto the next series of the show.
The Sun Online can exclusively reveal that Queer Eye breakout star Jonathan Van Ness, who helps men with their grooming and beauty regimes on the Netflix show, is already in talks to appear in what could be the final ever series of the Channel 5 reality show.
A source said: "Bosses know what a hit Queer Eye has become and everyone's obsessed with Jonathan.
"The show has become an international success and Jonathan would make amazing TV for the show.
"They are desperate to land him for the next series and have told producers to do whatever it takes to get him to sign on the dotted line."
It was previously revealed how this could be the last series of the show in its current guise, with bosses planning a major overhaul to boost ratings and keep the show going.
Channel 5 bosses have admitted that even if the show does return, that it won't be the same show that fans have grown to love.
During the inaugural Creative Cities Convention last week, Ben Frow, Channel 5’s director of programming said a deal has yet to be agreed.
According to Broadcast, he continued to say that the show would not return to the channel “in its current form”.
He also said the broadcaster would “not be spending the same amount of money,” on the show before adding: “The ball is in Endemol Shine’s court.”
Ratings for the show have fallen steadily over the past few years but it’s still a hit with viewers.
Big Brother's Bit On The Side has already been axed in a shake up for the series.

And Emma Willis has said she would "hate it" if the show was axed from screens for good.
