Britain’s Got Talent hopeful Jack Goodacre is child star who’s already appeared on The Voice Kids and School Of Rock

BRITAIN’S Got Talent’s Jack Goodacre is no stranger to the limelight – as he’s already appeared on The Voice Kids and School Of Rock.

But after struggling to hit the big time, the youngster has teamed up with his dad Tim and is back with a brand new act.

In tonight’s episode, the 11-year-old and his 43-year-old dad will wow the judges with a song they penned together.

And getting up on stage, Jack makes it clear he thinks BGT is the platform he needs to finally hit the big time.

He explains: “It’s my favourite thing to watch on TV so it’d be absolutely incredible to win.”

Their act impresses BGT boss Simon Cowell so much, he leads a standing ovation for the pair.

But Jack failed to make it to the final stages of the show

Jack, who was also known as Norwich’s youngest busker, landed the starring role of Zack Mooneyham in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s West End adaptation of School of Rock last year.

He said after bagging the part: “I couldn’t believe they chose me as there were thousands of great musicians at the audition, but now I get to play guitar, sing and act every night to sold out audiences – it’s like a dream!”

Just two months later, he took the coaches by storm when he auditioned for The Voice Kids.

He ended up being picked out of hundreds of youngsters auditioning and a clip of the pair playing guitar together went viral.

But now he’s back with a new act and tonight he wows the judges alongside his dad with a performance of an original track they wrote themselves

Although Jack made it through to the semis, he failed to reach the final row of the show.

But after stunning Simon, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden on tonight’s show – it seems Jack – and his dad – could finally be onto a winner.

After watching their act tonight, Simon can be seen telling the pair how their act reminds him of his bond with his young son Eric.

But could Jack finally make it all the way? You’ll have to watch to find out…
