Amir Khan reveals wife Faryal has given birth to their second daughter – and they’ve called her Alayna
Amir Khan’s wife Faryal Makhdoom has given birth to her second child.
The 26-year-old New Yorker has given birth to a little girl called Alayna Khan, who weighs 8lbs 30z.
Boxer Amir, who won his fight against Phil Lo Greco this weekend, broke the news by sharing a picture of her dressed up in a cute hat and matching leopard print babygrow.
He wrote alongside it: “With my new born ALAYNA KHAN. Welcome to the world. Weighing 8lbs 3oz 👶.”
The couple are already parents to two-year-old Lamaisah, who was born in 2014.
Faryal announced she was pregnant with their second child just weeks after she briefly split from Amir.

She tweeted at the time: "Alhumdulilah , blessed with baby number 2 in my tummy #excited eating away, can't stop."
Last summer the couple had a rather public falling out, and Amir announced their split on Twitter while accusing her of cheating on him with Anthony Joshua.
She fired back with her own accusations and was appalled when Amir appeared to move on quickly with model Gulbahor Becknazar.
The bitter feud didn’t last too long though and they soon reunited, just in time for Amir’s stint in I’m A Celebrity.
Since then Amir previously blamed his marital problems on a "lack of communication".
Amir said: "You want to change things at times, the way it went public wasn't nice ... anger sometimes takes over. That happened in 2017.
"Hopefully going into 2018 we've both put that behind us, we've got a lovely baby coming this year, we have also have Lamaisah our daughter, my boxing career, [I will] get some good fights in. What went wrong? A lack of communication."
Whilst Faryal added: "It was just a misunderstanding. I was in England, he was in Dubai, he thought he was a bit cool in Dubai doing some tweets."
