Coronation Street fans predict Fiz will get pregnant with Tyrone and leave soap after Jennie McAlpine announces she’s expecting second child
CORONATION Street fans think Jennie McAlpine’s character Fiz will get pregnant.
The actress announced she was expecting her second child yesterday and Corrie viewers have been trying to predict how she will exit the soap.
It will be the third time Fiz has had to be temporarily written out of the soap, the first was when Jennie had her son Albert, now three, and the second was when she appeared in I’m A Celebrity last year.
Soap writers explained her absence both times saying she was looking after her mum Cilla, who no longer lives on the Cobbles but often needs help because she has osteoporosis.
However it might be hard to use the same plot again, and some fans think she might end up having a baby with Tyrone.
The couple are currently trying to work on their relationship again after Tyrone cheated on her with Gemma Winter (Dolly Rose Campbell).
Some viewers think Gemma might also be pregnant though, which would force a devastated Fiz to leave.
Following the news of Jennie’s pregnancy, one person wrote: “Wondering if on corrie fiz and gemma will be pregnant to tyrone together 🤔.”
Others have joked that she will once again go and looked after Cilla, with someone writing: “So fizz will be disappearing to look after cilla for 6 months….again haha.”
While another asked: “Are you gonna be looking after your Mum again She been poorly quiet a bit recently Poor Cilla 😂🤣😅.”
Yesterday Jennie took to Twitter to reveal she is pregnant with her second child, writing: “We’ve got a bit of news. Pur baby boy is going to be a big brother later this year. We can’t wait to meet you precious one x (sic)”
She later clarified her spelling error, saying: “Thanks for all your lovely messages. Obviously my baby brain is in full force again. Our baby boy. Not pur. Sorry to people who got confused it was about the cat x (sic)”
