Labrinth, Sia, and Diplo join forces to form new supergroup LSD
The international trio are said to release their first collaboration later this month
LABRINTH, SIA and DIPLO have formed a supergroup and will release their first collaboration later this month.
British singer-songwriter Labrinth, Aussie powerhouse Sia, and super-producer Diplo, are going under the moniker LSD after forming an unlikely friendship.
A source said of Labrinth: “He’d been spending a lot of time in America.
Through his music contacts he has got to know Sia, who lives in New York, and Diplo, who is based in LA. They’ve been writing together for a long time.
“Forming a side-project doesn’t seem strange to any of them. It’s mates having a good time and doing what they do best.
“Plus, with a combined social media following of 16million fans, they are a record label’s dream.”
SIMON COWELL signed Labrinth in 2010 as his first non-talent show act in six years.
Sia has emerged from the songwriting shadows as a bona fide chart-topper in her own right, while Diplo has created hits for JUSTIN BIEBER, BEYONCE, BRITNEY SPEARS and MADONNA.

In October, Labrinth tweeted Sia a picture of the cover of her Christmas album, with the message: “I wish I could have been a backing singer on this.
"Next one, you know who to call.”
Sia clearly pays close attention to her social media feed.
