Coronation Street spoilers: Robert Preston’s steroid addiction revealed to his devastated fiancée Michelle Connor

ROBERT Preston’s shameful drug secret will be revealed to his shocked fiancée Michelle Connor in Coronation Street next week.

And it’s Carla Connor, played by Alison King, who tells Michelle what Robert’s been up to, as Michelle rages at her for sleeping with her son Ali Neeson.

Carla speaks to young doctor Ali about steroid abuse and it doesn’t take him long to clock on that she’s talking about Robert, actor Tristan Gemmill.

Ali agrees to help Carla and – during a family meal at Michelle’s – questions Robert about his gym routine, while warning him to take things easy.

But proceedings take a shocking turn when Michelle discovers that Ali and Carla have been sleeping together behind her back.

Furious, she throws everyone out of the flat apart from Carla, and the two have a heated standoff. But while Michelle rages at Carla, she keeps Robert’s drug secret.

Angry Michelle refuses to take Carla’s calls, while Carla pays Robert a visit in the Bistro where he confirms he’s still taking steroids.

She then runs into Michelle in the Street and when her former BFF starts laying into her again about her fling with Ali, Carla stuns her with the brand new information that her betrothed is hooked on steroids.

Sucks to be Michelle next week.

She furiously confronts Robert and demands to know if it’s true and he lies to her, telling her that he’s off them.
