EAMONN Holmes has slammed 'diva' Mariah Carey after she insisted on being interviewed lying down.
The 58-year-old was a guest host on the show alongside Kate Garraway while Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid enjoy their Easter break.

During Richard Arnold's showbiz segment they started talking about diva strops, and Eamonn said: "I've experienced them. Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Meg Ryan."
Richard, 48, said he had interviewed the Fantasy singer as well, recalling: "I've actually interviewed her, I went all the way to Vegas for it, she was only an hour late which gave me a chance to have a lychee martini at Caesars [Palace].
"Great fun, very self aware, she clearly gets it."
He then showed a clip of the singer's new advert for Hostelworld, which sees her mocking her diva reputation.

When the video ended, Eamonn said: "She's playing to type because I mean, that's her."
He then went on to recall his own interaction with the star, revealing: "Did I tell you the other story when I went to interview her and she was lying down?
"So I said 'Well if you're gonna lie down I'm lying down too.'"
As the rest of his co-stars laughed, he added: "It didn't end well."

Eamonn's show didn't end too well either today, after he was forced to walk off set mid-interview after having a massive coughing fit.
The pair were chatting to Julian Clary about his new children's book but Eamonn had to keep trying to suppress his coughs.

As Julian spoke, he glanced at Eamonn and said: "I'm trying to talk while Eamonn is coughing away."
Putting his hand over his mouth and coughing again, he replied: "I'm sorry mate I've got one of those air conditioned coughs on the plane.
"I think what I might do is leave and let you guys carry on."

Kate looked round in shock and asked: "Oh really? Bless you, are you that bad?"
Starting to turn his chair and get up, Eamonn gestured to Julian and said through a thick throat: "Well it's disrespectful, off you go off you go."
He then walked off set without another word.
