TROUBLED Ant McPartlin was reportedly more than twice the drink-drive limit when he was involved in a smash with two cars including one carrying a four-year-old girl.

The TV presenter's breathalyser read 75mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath but the legal limit is 35mcg, the  reports.

Ant, 42, was charged with drink driving after a collision involving two other cars in Richmond, West London, on March 18.

He has now scrapped all work commitments for the “foreseeable future” and returned to rehab after receiving treatment for prescription drug and alcohol addiction last summer.

Ant was due to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on Wednesday but the hearing was postponed by a fortnight.

A spokesman for the court said: “An adjournment has been agreed and a new date of hearing has been set for Monday 16th April.”

A source added: “Court officials agreed to push the court date back because Ant is in intensive rehab right now.

“They’re mindful of his personal problems and accept that he is taking pro-active steps to deal with those issues, which is a positive thing.”

The TV presenter has yet to enter a plea. But if convicted the offence is punishable by an unlimited fine, a driving ban of at least 12 months — and even prison.

Sun Online revealed Ant will be seen on Britain's Got Talent in two weeks when the show starts again.

ITV bosses have decided to keep all the pre-recorded footage of Ant and his co-star Declan Donnelly in the auditions stage of the competition.

Dec hosted Saturday Night Takeaway alone and will do the same this weekend during the grand finale.

He will also take to the stage alone during the live shows for Britain’s Got Talent after impressing with his solo performance.

All the audition shows for this year’s series, which include acts from Manchester, London and Belfast, will feature Ant however.
