KENNY Rogers is a legendary singer and songwriter - and he's a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame.
He's had over 120 hit singles across various genres, and was recently forced to cancel the final dates of his farewell tour. But what else do we know about the man?
Who is Kenny Rogers?
Kenny Rogers is an American singer, songwriter, record producer and actor.
He was born Kenneth Ray Rogers in Houston, Texas, on August 21, 1938 - that makes him 80.
Kenny has sold over 100 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling musicians of all time.
Rogers has an estimated net worth of around $250 million (£178 million), according to .
He's been divorced four times and is currently married to his fifth wife, Wanda.
The country singer has five children.
On May 31, 2019, a statement was posted on his Twitter account saying he had been admitted to hospital and being treated for dehydration.
The tweet was in response to speculation about his health.
The statement finished saying: "He appreciates the concern and well wishes he has received from his fans and can assure everyone he plans on sticking around through the years to come."
Who's Kenny Rogers' wife Wanda?
Kenny married his fifth wife, Wanda Miller, on June 1, 1997.
They dated for five years before tying the knot, and have identical twin boys - Jordan and Justin.
Wanda met Kenny when the star showed up at the restaurant she was working at in Atlanta, Georgia.
He left his number with one of Wanda’s co-workers.
Wanda said: "I came in the next day and they all said, ‘Kenny Rogers called asking about you'."
Initially, she didn’t believe her colleagues, and thought it was a joke so she threw the phone number away.
After much persuasion, her co-workers finally convinced her it was real.
She returned his call and they started dating - and they've been together ever since.
Kenny was married to his first wife, Janice, from 1958-1960; his second wife, Jean, from 1960-63; his third wife, Margo, from 1964-1976; and his fourth, Marianne, from 1977 - 1993.
He has two older sons Kenny Jr and Christopher Cody, who are both actors, and a daughter Carole.
Why did he cancel his tour?
In April 2018, the singer's management stated on Twitter that Kenny Rogers cancelled his tour dates because he's "working through a series of health challenges".
They added that he's been forced to cancel his eight remaining tour dates "to focus on recuperation", but "his doctors fully expect the outcome to be great."
His farewell tour was announced back in 2015, as Kenny decided to spend more time with his wife and their two young sons.
