Why did we have to wait until 2018 to see a funny, big-hearted drama on this important topic?
Especially when it will impress cinema-goers.

The film also features a cringey declaration of love that will curl your toes so tightly you may never be able to straighten them.
While the young actors all impress, Josh Duhamel is too syrupy as Simon’s dad and I would like someone other than Jennifer Garner to be cast as the caring mum in the next family drama I watch.
She really has been typecast beyond endurance. But that’s nitpicking because this is a crowd-pleaser for teens who are sure to love Love, Simon.
