What has Ryan said about his tanning addiction?

Ryan has previously revealed he's "addicted" to tanning jabs and would rather die than have pale skin.

His addiction even landed him in hospital after an illegal tanning hormone he’d been injecting for months left him with chest pains and palpitations.

Ryan said: “Ending up in hospital was the worst thing that has ever happened to me and I do worry I could die.

“But I’d rather be six feet under than be pale, I can’t physically do it. Being pale brings on anxiety and panic attacks, it has serious psychological effects.

“I have missed friends’ birthdays before now. I won’t go out if I don’t have the injections.

"I don’t really know the long-term side effects. The jabs could kill me but we could all be gone tomorrow.

"I’m living my life every single day, happy and confident, going out that door smiling.”
