Danny Dyer’s daughter Dani in talks with Love Island bosses after being forced off Survival Of The Fittest after injury
DANI Dyer is top of Love Island bosses' wishlist for this summer's show after impressing them during her brief time in Survival Of The Fittest.
The 22-year-old was forced out of the battle of the sexes reality show after she dislocated her shoulder in the first challenge of the series.
Despite her premature exit, Dani proved so popular with viewers that Love Island producers are desperate to give her another shot on screen by getting her in the villa in June.
A source told The Sun Online: "Dani's bright and bubbly personality really captured the attention of the viewers and the Love Island team.
"They're determined to sign her up and are confident fans of the show will love watching her try to find romance this summer."
Dani is yet to sign a contract as we're told by another insider that bosses will continue to audition hopefuls until mid-May when the final shortlist is drawn up.
It remains to be seen if her actor dad Danny will be pleased about her going on the show, which is renowned for its steamy bedroom activities.
After Dani's early exit from Survival Of The Fittest, the EastEnders star said he didn't know if his heart could take watching her in the lodge for three more weeks.
The news that Dani is being lined up for Love Island comes just a day after show sources claimed bosses wouldn't be putting any reality stars in the villa.
But such is Dani's appeal that they're willing to make an exception for her.
A representative for Dani said "no comment" when approached by The Sun Online.
Following her injury back in February, Dani reflected on her time on the show and how gutted she was to withdraw.
She said: “My experience, the lead up going into the lodge was amazing.”
“I can’t put into words how amazing it was so I am gutted I can’t do any challenges but I am rooting for the girls, all the way, we have to win. Especially now we have win, they have to do it for me,” she said.
“I am going to sit back and rest and watch every single night and hope they win every challenge.”
She dislocated her shoulder as she landed awkwardly after careering headfirst down a water slide while filming a challenge.

The barmaid was treated on site then taken to hospital — a day after entering the ITV2 show’s lodge in the Savanna.
A source told The Sun at the time: “It was a really nasty fall. Dani knew straight away she had done serious damage but tried to continue as she didn’t want to seem like a wuss. It was too much, though, and she was taken to hospital."
“Due to the nature of the series, where the boys and girls battle tough physical challenges, as well as mental ones, the producers decided Dani would have to be replaced. It’s a shame for everyone because she was looking forward to taking part and ITV were chuffed to sign her.”
