EMMA Willis will spend three months working shifts in a maternity ward for a new documentary.
The very in-demand TV presenter will swap her day job for gruelling 12 hour days and night shifts in a busy hospital.
Ditching her usual glam for scrubs, Emma will work as a maternity care assistant for the new show, called Emma Willis: Delivering Babies, which will air on the W Channel.
The mum-of-three, who has previously revealed it was her dream to deliver a baby, will be seen doing everything from admitting pregnant women on to the ward, taking blood pressure and even assisting during births.
Speaking about taking part in the show, she said: “If I wasn’t doing my current job I know for a fact that I would have loved to work in a hospital.
“Blood, guts and the workings of the human body have always fascinated m. Both my parents worked in hospitals and so it’s literally in my blood.
“I can’t wait to dive right in and fully immerse myself in a busy maternity ward alongside the truly incredible midwives and nurses who work there day in day out.”
Speaking earlier this year about wanting to work in a hospital delivering babies she told The Daily Star: "I want to deliver a baby, or at least see a delivery," she said. "I think it would be incredible to witness.
“I missed mine because I was at the other end. I need my little sister to have a baby, really. I could be her birthing partner."
Emma, who is mum to son Ace, six, and daughters Isabelle, eight, and Trixie with husband Matt Willis, admitted today that she was broody as she presented This Morning.
She told Rylan Clark-Neal: “I see a baby and I just get all broody again.”
