Tanya Bardsley plans to use controversial gender selection to make sure her third baby with husband Phil is a girl
Real Housewives Of Cheshire star said she wanted her PA to work out a way to get her husband’s sperm to a clinic in Cyprus so they could have gender selection
TANYA Bardsley has revealed she’s considering gender selection to ensure she can have a daughter.
During last night's episode of The Real Housewives Of Cheshire she opened up to her personal assistant about her plan.
Tanya, 36, has three boys with her husband, former footballer Phil, and a daughter from a previous relationship.
She admitted she longed to have a baby girl but as gender selection is illegal in the UK, she wanted to look into a way of getting his sperm to Cyprus so they could try the controversial selection process.
Speaking to her personal assistant, Tanya explained: “This is a secret. I want to have a baby girl.
“So my friend went to Cyprus and you take your husband with you. He has to nut in a cup.
“The girl and the boy eggs get separated and the girl egg will get put back in me with Phil’s sperm.”
Tanya then admitted she needed help in working out a way to get Phil’s sperm to the country if he wasn’t willing to go with her.
She added: “I can get Phil to do it. But how do we get it to Cyprus? Do we freeze it? Do we keep it warm? A freezer bag maybe?”
Laughing, her PA promised he’d look into it for her.
