JLS star JB Gill reveals his wife Chloe is pregnant as they prepare to become parents for a second time
Before they'd had the happy news confirmed, their little boy predicted Chloe was pregnant - and he thinks it's going to be a girl
JLS star JB Gill is about to become a dad for the second time after revealing his wife Chloe is pregnant.
The singer told that his three-year-old son Ace predicted the pregnancy.
They were out shopping when the little boy said "Mummy, we need to get some clothes for my sister’," pregnant Chloe said.
";I said to him, ‘But you don’t have a sister’. His face went all serious and he went, ‘I do, Mummy - in your tummy’.
"When I told J, we were like, ‘Whoa!'"
Just as he said, Chloe discovered she was pregnant - but they are yet to find out whether they're expecting a boy or a girl.
Chloe suffered a traumatic birth with Ace when the umbilical cord was wrapped twice around his neck after 40 hours in labour.
After initally being nervous to try for a second child, the parents are now over the moon to share their exciting news.
JB said: ""Because we know people who have had complications, we were cautious to say anything before now.
"In our line of work, you never have the job until you’re on that stage and I guess we’ve approached this the same way – we wanted to make sure we were firmly on that stage."
Chloe and JB started dating in 2008 after Chloe caught JB’s eye while working as a backing dancer.
The former X Factor star who turned to farming when the band split in 2013, is now known as a presenter on Songs Of Praise.
JB made his debut episode spending the night in the grounds of a historic Shropshire church as he sampled a new form of holidaying known as champing.
He had achieved worldwide success with band JLS and their hit songs “Everybody in Love” and “Beat again”.
