Saturday Night Takeaway’s Scarlett Moffat and Stephen Mulhern replace Ant McPartlin as they give away places for Florida trip

ANT McPartlin was tonight replaced by Scarlett Moffat and Stephen Mulhern who gave away tickets to Florida to Saturday Night Takeaway viewers.

The trio came out on stage in front of plane prop and were surrounded by dancers dressed as air hostesses before Dec sent them out into the audience for the “biggest ever” happiest minute of the week.

They surprised fans by telling them they will be flying out to Florida next week for the final show.

Viewers at home were also surprised to see them pop up on the telly after winning a seat on the plane.

Social media users had predicted that Stephen and Scarlett would take on a bigger role in this week’s show after Ant recovers in rehab.

He was charged with drink-driving following a collision on March 18, and is expected to appear in court on April 4.

Last week’s episode of Takeaway was pulled from the air as a result, and fans took the opportunity to share their favourite clips from the show in its absence as ITV1 aired The Voice in its place.

However, Dec and the production team decided to complete the show’s run and air the remaining two episodes.

He was tonight praised by fans who branded him “brave” for going it alone without his best friend Ant.

The 42-year-old presenter looked nervous as he was introduced alone but was soon seen with a beaming smile as he danced with the audience en route to the stage.
