Emmerdale spoilers: Joseph Tate arrested after Robert Sugden takes revenge over the haulage company scheme
The multi-millionaire is seething as he’s led off by the police and realises he’s been set up by a smug Robert
ROBERT Sudgen, played by Ryan Hawley, manages to get one over on villainous Joseph Tate in Emmerale next week when he gets the millionaire company director arrested.
Joe, played by Ned Porteous in the ITV soap, is seething when the police arrive to arrest him and he’s even more livid when he realises he’s been set up by a smug Robert as revenge over the haulage company scheme.
The two business heavyweights have locked horns ever since smoke from Robert’s scrap yard put off a potential buyer for Home Farm last month and the pair ended up in a war of words with Robert branding Joe’s mum Rachel a slapper, leaving Joe fuming and out to make Robert’s life a misery.
He’s a sweetie, right?
Joe’s already tried to hit him where it hurts by having Rebecca White, the mother of his son Seb, arrested after she broke into Home Farm, confused and thinking she still lived there.
It didn’t have the desired effect though and Joe upped his game by plotting to take the haulage company off of Robert and his business partner, Jimmy King.
He even installed hidden cameras in the Home James office to keep an eye on the pair.
But when Robert gets wind of what Joe’s up to, he and Jimmy come up with a plan to get smug Joe back – harder.
When the Home Farm playboy gets whisked away by police, Robert and boyfriend Aaron Dingle decide to celebrate.
But, unknown to them, they’re being watched. Could Joe already be about to hit back?
