VANESSA White stunned Sport Relief fans by KICKING Hannah Spearritt during their boxing match on Friday night.

The Saturdays singer got a stern telling off from the referee who warned her to not use the illegal move again.

When they first got into the ring, both Hannah and Vanessa gave as good as they got.

But as the fight entered the third round, it seemed the adrenaline kicked in for Vanessa who managed to get S Club 7 star Hannah into a corner.

As she rained down punches onto her head, Vanessa suddenly lashed out and kicked Hannah as she was up against the ropes.

Stunned fans watched as she was then pulled to one side by the referee.

Shouting, he told her: “Using your knee, that is an illegal move. Never do that again!

“Yes? Never do that again!”

Vanessa went on to win the match but some fans weren’t happy with the decision.

One viewer watching the bout tweeted: “Vanessa should be docked points and therefore lose for bloody kneeing!”

Their fight wasn’t the only one to cause a stir last night, as Helen Skelton wowed fans with her boxing technique as she took on Camilla Thurlow.
