Gogglebox’s Sandra Martin given second chance at Panto after being sacked for ‘drinking on the job’
GOGGLEBOX star Sandra Martin has landed another role in panto – three months after being sacked from Aladdin for “drinking on the job”.
The Sun Online can reveal the 100 Years Younger star has been invited to appear in a kinky production of Snow White in London’s Soho.
In recent weeks, 55-year-old Sandra has begged her fans to help her find work after she was dropped from the Big Brother line up.
Now she’s been handed a second chance, with insiders telling The Sun Online she can’t wait to get started on the production.
Producer Simon Gross said: “I have known Sandra for a number of years, she came to see the show when it was on in December and loved it so we had to write her a part in the production.
“If you are lucky enough to see her at one of the performances you are in for a treat!
“We love Sandra and feel she is an absolute natural so had to give her a chance again”.
The panto, which is being held at the Karma Sanctum Hotel in the capital, runs from March 30 to April 13.
Sandra came under fire in November when she was given the boot from Aladdin for “drinking before appearing on stage”.
After giving bosses the impression she was under the influence of alcohol, Sandra was sent home and didn’t return to her role as the Spirit of the Ring.
At the time, a show insider told The Sun: “Staff noticed she was impaired during the performance.
“She was told by one, ‘You’ve got to go and you can’t go back on’.
“I’ve never heard of anyone go in the middle of a performance.”

Sandra later confirmed her exit online and since then has been struggling to find work.
Fans of the larger-than-life character can now see her back on stage where she will no doubt thrill audiences with her performance.
Snow White & The Seven Poofs Easter Resurrection is raising funds for the Terence Higgins Trust and will be on at The Karma Sanctum Hotel on the 30 & 31 March, 5, 6, 12 & 13 April.
