An exact date has not been confirmed for the new series of This Is Your Life.
UK broadcasters are currently in discussions with the distributor DRG.
The series was originally created and hosted by Ralph Edwards in the US in 1952.
In the UK, the show began on BBC One in 1955 and moved to ITV in 1969.
The show returned to the BBC in 1994 and the latest series to air ended in 2003.
What is This Is Your Life About?
This Is Your Life is a biographical TV documentary series.
The show surprises celebrity guests by presenting them with a big red book of their achievements.
Celebrities then take a look back at their life and career in front of a studio audience.
There will be some changes to the format of the new show, including more behind the scenes footage about how guests are chosen, and how the surprise "hit" on the celebrity is planned.
Which celebrities have previously appeared on This Is Your Life?
Numerous celebrities have been presented with the coveted red book from This Is Your Life.
Among them are actor Richard Beckinsale from the sitcoms Rising Damp and Porridge, who appeared just eight months before he died.
Boxer Alan Minter was also featured on the show in 1983 but the live broadcast had to be stopped due to his swearing.
In 2007 Simon Cowell appeared as a guest in a one-off special on ITV.

Jonathan Ross has been confirmed as the presenter for the new series.
The chat show host appeared as a guest on the show in 2001.
This Is Your Life was originally hosted by Eamonn Andrews, both on the BBC and ITV.
Michael Aspel took over after Andrews died in 1987.
