Hollyoaks spoiler: Luke Morgan proposes to Mandy Richardson – while secret lover Darren Osbourne hides under the BED
It seems Darren and Mandy can't keep away from one another - but will she finally end their fling and agree to marry Luke?
MANDY Richardson and Darren Osbourne’s affair comes dangerously close to being exposed after Luke Morgan arrives home earlier than expected in tonight’s Hollyoaks.
The nail-biting episode will see cheating Darren forced to hide under the bed when Luke comes knocking and proposes to Mandy – just minutes after she romps with her married lover.
Luke shocks Mandy (Sarah Jayne Dunn) when he comes over with flowers before getting down on one knee and asking her to marry him.
What’s more, Luke (Gary Lucy) decides to propose right by Mandy’s bed, with Darren (Ashley Taylor Dawson) hiding just inches away.
The close call comes after Darren and wife Nancy continue to struggle with their marriage, with Nancy convinced her husband is rethinking their marriage because of her Multiple Sclerosis.
Of course, fans know that Darren is actually having to cope with his growing feelings for Mandy.
Regardless, the struggling couple agree to meet up later that day to talk things through.
Meanwhile Mandy’s suspicion over boyfriend Luke grows after he tries to play down a mysterious official letter he has received.
Unbeknownst to Mandy, the letter is actually to do with Luke’s attempt to divorce his secret wife Scarlett Morgan.
Darren and Nancy’s relationship is once again put to the test when an MS attack causes her to fall asleep, leading Darren to assume that she has stood him up.
As luck would have it, Mandy eventually walks into The Hutch, prompting to Darren instead confide in her instead of his wife.
During their heart-to-heart Mandy also expresses her concerns about Luke, though Darren insists he does love her despite his recent behaviour.
But that doesn’t stop the pair from getting frisky later that evening, convinced Luke won’t be home for hours.
The two receive a nasty shock, however, when Luke arrives back at the flat and proposes to Mandy before revealing he has booked flights for the couple to fly to Florida and get hitched in just two days’ time.
He also confesses to Mandy that the letter shrouded in mystery was actually to confirm his divorce from Scarlett and the money he had stolen from The Hutch was actually to pay for her engagement ring.
But viewers will be left watching through their fingers when Luke accidentally drops the ring under the bed where Darren is hiding, fortunately for Mandy, he doesn’t manage to spot her naked guest.
Hollyoaks continues tonight at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
