How many husbands has Gail Platt had?
Gail Platt, played by actress Helen Worth, has had a whopping FIVE husbands!
Each of her marriages have ended in disaster, with her husbands either dying or cheating.
She was married to to Brian Tilsley from 1979-1988; Martin Platt from 1991-2000; Richard Hillman from 2002 until his death the following year; Joe McIntyre from 2010 until his death the same year; and Michael Rodwell from 2015 until his death the following year.
Brian Tilsley
Gail and Brian were married from 1979 - 1988.
They struggled during the course of their marriage, and they constantly argued over money and their living arrangements.
Gail realised her marriage to Brian was dead in the water, so she had an affair with Ian Latimer and then got divorced.
However, Brian and Gail re-married when Sarah Louise was born, but tragedy struck when Brian was stabbed to death outside a nightclub in 1989.
Martin Platt
After Brian's death, Gail started romancing Martin Platt - who's ten years her junior.
The couple got married in 1990, and lived together with kids Nick, Sarah Louise and David at No. 8.
However, they divorced in 2000 after martin had an affair with Rebeca Hopkins.
Richard Hillman
Gail married financial adviser Richard Hillman in 2002.
However, their marriage soon turned sour when, in 2003, Richard confessed to two murders and tried to drown Gail and the kids by driving them into the canal.
Unfortunately for Richard, he only succeeded in killing himself.
The affair haunted the family for several years, and caused David to grow into a troubled teen.
Joe McIntyre
In 2010, Gail tied the knot with Joe McIntyre.
But the union wasn't to be when, after just a month of marriage, debt-ridden Joe tried to fake his death and Gail got arrested for his murder.
Gail was eventually found not guilty, but Joe later killed himself.
Michael Rodwell
Gail married Michael Rodwell - who was played by TV legend Les Dennis - in 2015.
Once again for Gail, the marriage ended in disaster.
After the pair struggled for a year of marriage, Michael died of a heart attack at the hands of Pat Phelan.
