Love Island’s Olivia Attwood insists she WILL get back together with Chris Hughes as they step out on ‘awkward’ first date together at Cheltenham
LOVE Island's Olivia Attwood has insisted she will get back together with Chris Hughes despite their blazing rows.
It comes as the on off couple, who split last month, stepped out at the Cheltenham Racing Festival together today.
The pair have remained on good terms and even watched the first episode of their reality show, Crackin' On, together despite the split.
Speaking to The Sun Online at the Tric Awards last night, Olivia insisted the pair aren't back together yet but they're talking about their issues and she'd like them to reunite.
Olivia told us: "We're back talking again and I do want to make a go of things with him.
"We're getting along much better now. We're just both very volatile people."
She added: “Our relationship was always under pressure but [the show] was an added pressure. It's tough... I don't know [if it's over for us]. Watch this space.”
But despite Olivia revealing the pair are speaking again, things looked strained between as they met in public for the first time since their split.
A source also told The Sun Online that things were "awkward" between the pair, who are ambassadors for Coral, as they posed for pictures at the famous racing festival today.
An insider said: "Things looked strained between them in between shots. They posed for selfies with fans but it was all a bit awkward between them."
Chris, 25, looked downcast as he attended Cheltenham on Tuesday while Olivia partied with her Love Island pals at the Tric Awards in London.
Chris and Olivia took third place in the 2017 series of Love Island and landed a spin-off show about their fiery relationship.
However, they split before the show aired and refused to promote it together.
Chris choked back tears as he discussed their rollercoaster relationship on a recent episode of Lorraine.

"We tried breaks, and it didn't really work for us. I look at us like twin flames. We're both very obsessed and crazy about each other.
"When it was good it was amazing, but when it's not what it could be we just end up bickering.
"We still speak, we talk every day, I'm still obsessed with her. I still love her like I loved her before."
