Geordie Shore’s Sophie Kasaei hooks up with hot new cast member Alexander Macpherson four months after heartbreaking split from Joel Corry
The pair have spent the past few weeks getting to know each other before Sophie left for home with her Geordie Shore pals
SOPHIE Kasaei has been hooking up with her hot new Geordie Shore co-star Alexander Macpherson, The Sun Online can reveal.
The 28-year-old reality star got close to hunky Aussie Alex during filming and the pair have become inseparable in recent days.
Their romance comes just four months after Sophie’s heartbreaking split from her boyfriend of six years Joel Corry.
An insider told The Sun Online: “Sophie caught Alex’s eye immediately and they got on like a house on fire during the filming.
“She’s been spending a lot of time with him during filming. They hooked up and had loads of fun.”
Sophie and her co-stars, including Nathan Henry and Abbie Holborn, are now back on the way to the UK after finishing filming for the Australian special of the show.
The source added: “Sophie and Alex aren’t serious and there weren’t any tearful goodbyes.
“Everyone is just happy to see her smiling and happy again.”
It’s been a tough few months for Sophie since she split from Joel in November.
A source told The Sun Online at the time: “They have split.
“It's been rocky for a while but it's over. I don't think she wants to talk about it too much as it's been very on and off, but it's over right now.”
Shortly after their split Sophie was involved in an incident at her home in Newcastle where she was allegedly threatened at knife point by a robber.

She put on a brave face however and flew Down Under with her co-stars to continue filming the hit MTV show.
Last month The Sun Online revealed the four new stars joining the cast, including Sophie’s hunky love interest Alex.
Pole dancer Dee was brought in to sex up the show, alongside estate agent Nick Murdoch.
The final star to join the show was fellow Geordie Grant Molloy.
