Sheridan Smith forced to take action over fake Tinder profile
The account featured six snaps and listed her job as being at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London’s West End
SHE hasn’t been the luckiest in love so I would understand why SHERIDAN SMITH might try her luck on Tinder.
But the actress had to take action against the dating app after someone posted a fake profile posing as her.
The account featured six snaps and listed her job as being at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London’s West End.
The bio read: “I like changing my hair colour, dogs, laughing and sleeping.”
One singleton who chatted to the person behind the profile said: “She was quite flirty at first but as soon as I asked her about her job it got her back up a bit.”
A spokesman for Sheridan, right, said:“I can confirm this is a fake account and I have reported it to be taken down.”
The actress was linked to ex-wrestler Stuart Tomlinson in December but nothing has been heard from them since.
Perhaps giving dating apps a go might not be such a bad idea.
