Paddy McGuinness crashes replica Only Fools and Horses three-wheel van in TV stunt causing £2,000 in damage
The van's owner Martyn Bridges says he has not received an apology from Paddy following the prang
PADDY McGuinness was branded a plonker after crashing a replica Only Fools And Horses three-wheeler in a telly stunt.
The prang caused £2,000 of damage to the Reliant Regal hired for The Greatest TV Moments Of All Time.
And the car’s owner Martyn Bridges says he has still not received an apology from the star.
The van — complete with Trotters Independent Traders on the side — was being towed with Paddy, 44, behind the wheel as he revealed Del Boy falling through an open bar as the top telly moment.
Martyn, 27, said: “He seemed to be going a bit fast and didn’t look like he was braking.
"I heard a massive crunch as he steered my van into a wall. My stomach sank.”
The crash was not included when the show aired on ITV in January.
Martyn, of Sevenoaks, Kent, added: “Paddy made a joke of it and said, ‘Cor the brakes on that thing don’t work’.
