Kate Dwyer bursts into tears as she gets Mother’s Day card from Jade Goody’s son Freddy
JEFF Brazier's fiancee Kate Dwyer has revealed she "burst into tears" after receiving a Mother's Day card from the son he shares with the late Jade Goody.
Kate admitted she was overcome with emotion after 13-year-old Freddy surprised her with the card during a family meal.
She wrote: "When Fred gives me a card in the restaurant and I burst into tears 😭 what an unbelievable gesture on a day that is unimaginably unfair for these boys.
"It’s not long until I am “officially” a stepmum but it only truly counts when you earn the recognition and trust of the children involved. My heart could burst ❤."
Alongside her emotional words was a short clip of the card, which was branded with the words: "Mum in a million."
Reality star Jade died from cervical cancer aged 27 in 2009, leaving behind her widower Jack and her two sons, Bobby and Freddy, from her relationship with Jeff.
"The boys will be my best men," he told the mag. "It means a lot to me for them to be such a huge part of the wedding."
Jeff and Kate also said they want children soon, with Jeff hoping to "bring a new dimension" to the lives of Bobby and Freddie.
Jeff said: "I'd feel great about giving them a brother or sister."
Kate took to Instagram to revealed her joy about the news going public as she wrote: "@jeffbrazier asked me to be his wife and made me the happiest girl in the world. "
Meanwhile, Jeff recently came under fire from Jade's widower Jack, who called him a "liar" after he said that the late Big Brother star's "lack of organisation" may have played a part in her not going to the doctor sooner.
