Bankrupt Michael Le Vell writing ‘explosive tell-all book’ which will ‘lift the lid on child sex abuse trial’
The news comes after the actor was declared bust amid claims he’d struggled to manage his finances after his marriage to Janette Beverley broke down
BANKRUPT soap star Michael Le Vell is reported to be writing a tell-all book which will “lift the lid on his child sex abuse trial”.
Insiders alleged the Coronation Street actor’s autobiography will be “explosive”.
It’s also claimed the book will give a “warts and all” look at his 35-year-old career on Coronation Street.
A source told : “Michael has a lot of tales to tell and parts of his book could be explosive.
“It will also tackle the darkest period of his life when he faced those allegations. There was a lot written about him before, during and after the trial.
“This is his chance to put his side across about everything.”
The Sun Online has contacted Michael's representatives for comment.
It comes after it was revealed last week how Michael, who earns £250,000 from the ITV soap, had gone bankrupt.
The father-of-two sold his £750,000 Cheshire home after his marriage to Janette Beverley collapsed following his trial over child sex allegations.
In September 2013, jurors at Manchester crown court took just four hours to acquit him on all 19 charges.

Reports emerged that the actor was facing bankruptcy after receiving a letter threatening legal action at his girlfriend’s home in Altrincham, Greater Manchester.
He allegedly failed to settle his affairs and the High Court declared him broke under his real name Michael Robert Turner, earlier this year.
