TAKE Me Out stars Ella Ruby and Simon Ryan are getting engaged, a year after meeting on the ITV dating show.
The couple didn’t end up being matched up on screen but romance blossomed backstage and the pair later started dating.
Simon got down on one knee during a Harry Potter themed panic room experience.
Tweeting a picture of her diamond ring, Ella told her followers: “I'M THE HAPPIEST GIRL IN THE WORLD!
!My best friend @ SimonRyan_ asked me to marry him and I literally can't believe I get to spend the rest of my life with him!
“Thanks to @ lifeofbeckie & @ AdamRyan_ for being there and making it extra special! Shoutout to @ EnigmaQuests.!”
Ella also revealed she’d cried when Simon asked her to marry him and posted multiple pictures of the happy couple afterwards.
Simon also shared their news and told his Twitter followers: “MASTER PLAN COMPLETED!
“Yesterday I went to EnigmaQuests with a Girlfriend and left with a Fiancée itsellaruby !”
The pair were inundated with messages from their followers, with Simon telling one: “Thank you so much, we are so happy!”
More recently the couple appeared on E4's Coach Trip: Road To Tenerife.
Ella and Simon aren’t the first couple to get serious after meeting on Take Me Out.

So far, Paddy McGuinness’ hit show has seen seven weddings and five pregnancies.
Speaking about the success of his matchmaking series, Paddy said he was really proud.
He added: “I met a little girl the other day whose parents were contestants and I sat there thinking, 'This person would not be here if mum and dad hadn't met on Take Me Out'.”
