The couple struggled to get their relationship off the ground and both blamed their lack of chemistry for the decision to split.
After announcing the divorce news at the end of tonight's show, Richard was swamped with offers from single viewers.
They headed to Twitter to declare that the policeman won't be short of a date following his appearance on the series.
One wrote: "Really want to marry Richard #MarriedAtFirstSight."
