Will there be another season of Married At First Sight UK?

Channel 4 have not yet confirmed if there will be another series of the hit reality show.

Last night (March 8) saw the fourth and final episode of the current series.

Harriet and Richard got divorced whilst loved-up couple Stephanie and Ben decided to stay together.

The season finale will aired on Channel 4 and is one hour long.

How many series have there been of Married at First Sight UK?

There have been three series of Married at First Sight UK with the first airing in 2016.

The format of the show is that experts pick matches based on a range of factors.

The couples then get married despite never having seen each other before.

After six weeks, it's up to the newly weds to decide if they want to stay married or get a divorce.

Has Married at First Sight been aired in other countries?

Married at First Sight has also been produced as a reality show in Australia and America.

There have been five series of the US version and three of the Australian version.

The US version which first aired in 2014 stars sexologist Pepper Schwartz and psychologist Joseph Cilona.

In the Australian version the marriages weren't legally binding because in Australia a marriage licence has to be obtained a month in advance.

The format for the show is based on a Danish programme of the same name which aired in 2013.
