WARRING X Factor duo Bratavio have been saved by Jeremy Kyle's celebrity special after 18 months of vicious bickering.
The pair appeared on the ITV show today and say they have patched up their differences caused by "jealously, sensitivity and insecurities".
One half of the duo Ottavio Columbro told the Sun's Bizarre column if it wasn't for the Jeremy Kyle special - which also starred Jeremy McConnell and Lisa Appleton - they would never be friends again.
He said: "The falling out was over a mixture jealously, sensitivity, insecurities.
"The reason I agreed to go on the show was had tried ourselves many times, to sit down as adults, talk it through. But we always end up in arguments and disagreements.
"For me it was the last thing. If it wasn't for this I don't think we'd be talking for ever. That would've been the end."
They then proceeded as a duo until the live results show when they were voted out.
But Ottavio has denied their most recent spat was anything to do with 'chicken gate'.
He said: "People need to forget about the chicken. This was before X Factor.
"We were always fighting for the limelight. On a night out, for example, there would still be that element of competition. And I know as best friends there shouldn't be that.
"I was always a jealous person so I suppose I was jealous of Bradley. I was jealous of him. I felt like he had everything.
"So we needed a mediator like Jeremy Kyle because he is good. He does get results. We needed someone to be like, 'what's going on?' and hear two sides of the stories.
"I told him, 'I'm not here to chase fame. I've got two degrees and I work. I'm not fame hungry'. I went on there to fix my friendship with Bradley. Purely.
"I've known him for five years. It's been a rocky relationship.
"We were given after care in the form of friendship counselling. That was needed. We needed someone professional.
"If it's just us two, it ends in dramatics. And we are naturally over the top people. It's not put on.
"I know when to be serious and I knew on the show I had to be serious. Because the end result to me was to get Bradley back as a friend.
"Of course I fancied him as well. Jeremy said to me, 'you still love him. I can see it's written all over your face'. I told him, 'yeah I'll be honest with you there was a time when I did'."
Unfortunately for Bratavio fans there are no chances of a reunion but it certainly won't be the last they've seen of the pair.
Ottavio: "In terms of the group – no, we're not getting back together.
"I've been honest with Bradley, I told him I wish I hadn't auditioned with him because it just wasn't right.
"This was the light at the end of the tunnel – I wish I had taken more time out, worked on myself and reapplied as a soloist. Without a back story.
