Gemma Collins reveals she’s lost a stone on new diet… and she plans to shift three more
GEMMA Collins has revealed she's on track to be four stone lighter by the end of April after kicking off her New Year with a massive lifestyle overhaul.
The reality star has already lost more than a stone since adopting a healthy new eating regime and fitness plan, and is planning to shed another three.
Speaking to new! magazine about her progress, the Towie star confessed: "So far, I've lost 1st 2Ibs. Obviously, because I'm bigger, it takes a while to see it."
Collins admits she still has a long way to go before leaving fans in awe of her transformation, but has a clear weight loss goal in mind.
She added: "I'll have to drop another 2-3st to see any difference.
"I'm planning to lose 4Ibs a week and, by April, I've worked out that's nearly 4st. That's where I want to be."
Gemma has been sharing snippets of her healthy new lifestyle on social media, which has seen her swap fatty meals for healthy, low-carb alternatives, such as grilled chicken with vegetables or quinoa.
Apart from treating her mum to a slap-up lunch at Harrods last month, the star also vowed to give up her love of afternoon teas.
Sharing a snap of her dinner, comprised only of greens and sweet potato, she wrote: "I’m doing this 🙌🏻 never felt so determined 🙌🏻 .
"So focused right now sorry to all my friends I’ve told them all no meals out or afternoon teas lol for a long time 💖💖🙌🏻🙌🏻��🏻 transformation."

The former Celebrity Big Brother star does seem to allow herself the odd treat however, as she was pictured leaving a curry house with on/off love interest James Argent on Friday night.
Arg even stayed over at Gemma's flat after their dinner date as he was seen making a low-key exit the next morning.
