ALLISON Janney has become an internet sensation as a video of her waving her Oscar and screaming "What's up b*****s" has gone viral.

The West Wing star, 58, was filmed walking into the room where her team were waiting for her and spilling her drink as she waved around her Best Supporting Actress trophy.

The boozy backstage clip at Sunday's Academy Awards has taken Twitter by storm as fans shared the hilarious video online.

Allison's team scream as she walks through the door and waves her Academy Award statuette at them following her big win for I, Tonya.

As she holds up her trophy and dances around the room, the actress accidentally spills her drink on the floor.

One fan wrote: "Allison Janney, Oscar in hand, screaming “What’s up, b******!?!?” at her team is everything 😂🙌🏻😍 #legend..."

Another wrote: "When she spills the drink #iconic."

A third added: "And this is why i love her..."

During her acceptance speech, Allison, best known for playing press secretary C. J. Cregg in The West Wing, won a lot of laughs with her speech.

She joked: "I did it all by myself" before adding: "Okay, nothing further from the truth."

Allison went on: "[I want to thank] a cast and crew and bird that elevated my work.”

Speaking backstage at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, where the Academy Awards were held, she said of her win: "I kind of didn’t dare to dream of things like this because I didn’t want to be disappointed.

"At a certain point I had given up. I wasn’t getting the roles in film that would get me attention like this."
