STARS have spent hours ensuring they looked their very best for tonight's Oscars red carpet.
However, with the world's cameras upon them, many slipped up - here are the funniest moments from stars arriving at the 90th Academy Awards .

American ski racer Lindsey Vonn had her name held up on a placard by an Oscars employee as she posed for the cameras.
Shortly behind her was Jennifer Lawrence who seemed to be in good spirits ahead of the ceremony.
The actress had onlookers in stitches as she stood theatrically on the red carpet.

Clutching a glass of wine, she hitched up her gown and climbed over seats to make sure she got a decent view of the awards.
She spoke to other guests animatedly, but at one point looked rather miserable as she travelled to her seat.
Also experiencing a mix of emotions was Laura Dern who was snapped mid-laugh outside the event.

While Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri was the expected winner of the gong, the film still took home some of the biggest awards of the evening including Sam Rockwell for Best Supporting Actor, and Frances McDormand for Best Leading Actress.
