Emmerdale’s Ross Barton breaks down as the doctors tell him nothing can get rid of his acid attack scars

ROSS Barton has broken down in Emmerdale after being told he will be scarred for life.
The mechanic - who is played by actor Michael Parr in the ITV soap - became the victim of a horrific acid attack after Debbie Dingle paid drug dealer Simon to attack Joseph Barton, but he ended up getting Ross instead.
Now Ross has been left struggling and his hopes of returning back to "normal" have been thwarted.
He thought a skin graft would solve all his problems and make him look like he did, but now the doctor has told him he will never be the same, he has been left utterly devastated.
"Having a skin graft will leave a permanent scar, but it's a better quality scar than you have currently," the surgeon told him in the first-look spoiler clip.
"The scars will lessen over time but they won't vanish."
Ross broke down and said: "What? So I go through all that, more pain, more ops and for what?
"It's not you they're cutting and pasting, is it? So excuse me if I'm a little hacked off.
"No, no way. This is not happening. You heard her, this is it. This is what I am."
With that, he sat back down and seemed to take in the enormity of what he had just been told.
