Survival of the Fittest winners say they were too exhausted to have sex as series finishes with no action
SURVIVAL of the Fittest girls were too exhausted to even think about having sex, they have revealed in their first chat since winning the show.
They told the Sun’s Bizarre column they were so tired from doing a challenge every day.
None of the stars of the show did the deed despite being encouraged to by host Laura Whitmore.
Mettisse Campbell, 21, who became 20 year old Tristan Jones’s girlfriend on the ITV2 show, said: “It was very much we were doing challenges every day — we were exhausted. Physically and mentally. It didn’t even cross my mind.
“Me and Tristan, we obviously became boyfriend and girlfriend quite quickly, but I’ve taken things slow in the outside world. There was never pressure.
“We just enjoyed each other’s company. We didn’t feel we needed to be intimate like that.”
The girls — Mettisse, Mariam Musa, Sam Dewhurst, 24, and Jenny West, 31, — won the ultimate team challenge in tonight’s show and were crowned the winners of Survival of the Fittest 2018.
Mettisse was voted the Fittest Girl by the public and chose to share the £40,000 prize money her mates rather than with Tristan.
She says splitting the money with Tristan didn’t even enter her mind.
The winner said: “I chose to split the money with the girls because it couldn’t have happened without them. It was complete teamwork. We all worked so hard and went through so much I had to share them
“Splitting the money with Tristan didn’t enter my mind. As soon as the question got asked to me it was my girls straight away.”
Mariam and Warren Phillips, 29, were the closest to having sex when they spent the night together alone on Wednesday’s episode.
She said: “For me it was just two weeks.
“When we go onto the show the majority of us wouldn’t think to have sex because it is a personal and intimate thing. In some situations it does get heated and you can go with the flow.
“We were constantly active. We aren’t just chilling around not doing anything then we might be tempted. So we are doing things and you forget about that and it was just one of those things.”
