Rebecca is still confused following the fatal crash that killed both her sister and dad, Chrissie and Lawrence earlier this year.
After a month in a coma, Rebecca finally came round but was told that she had suffered brain damage as a result of the crash.
She suffers confusion and moments of extreme memory loss and has been keeping a ‘memory book’ to write down things she kept forgetting.
Rebecca’s condition meant she’s had to hand over full-time custody of her son Seb to his dad Robert Sugden and Robert’s partner Aaron Dingle.
Her condition also left her with no-filter, so she would often say inappropriate things at inappropriate times.
She once let herself into Home Farm while Joe Tate and his assistant Graham were out, thinking she still lived there.
But she became even more muddled and distressed when she found everything was different after Joe had redecorated.
Not understanding, Rebecca panicked when Joe arrived home and - not knowing who he was or why he was there - she attacked him, leading to her arrest.

Lachlan White is clearly trying to use Rebecca’s head injury against her, keeping her drugged and confused.
While Rebecca has struggled with some aspects of life since the accident she is far from being ‘mad’ and doesn’t need to be in a hospital or restrained.
But now Lachlan has been arrested for murder, it’s a race against time to find Rebecca.
