Eve Mavrakis says she’s still divorcing Ewan McGregor amid reports actor was dumped by lover Elizabeth Winstead
EWAN McGregor’s wife has told The Sun that her divorce from the Trainspotting star is still going ahead and the pair are no longer speaking.
The Star Wars actor, 46, was snapped visiting the home of estranged wife Eve Mavrakis, 51, just 24 hours after reports that he had been dumped by his younger lover.
But Eve revealed that she was not speaking to her husband and that he had only come round to pick up their six-year-old daughter Anouk.
She claimed she “did not care” whether he and actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead, 33, had split.
The French production designer, speaking from her house in Los Angeles, told The Sun: “I haven't spoken to Ewan at all, so I don't actually know whether they are together or not.
“I don't care what he is doing. I don't know anything about it.
"We don't speak and I haven't spoken to him for some time.”
Scotsman McGregor filed for divorce from his wife-of-22 years in January, citing “irreconcilable differences”.
When asked if their divorce was still going ahead, Eve told The Sun: “I presume so. I haven't heard otherwise.”
McGregor and Winstead met on the set of his US show Fargo early last year.
The pair split up with their partners to be together and were spotted snogging in a London café in October.
McGregor caused fury in January by thanking both his wife and Winstead, after winning a Golden Globe for his work on Fargo.
He and Winstead have been living together in Los Angeles.
But a source told Star magazine, in the US: “Mary hated being labelled a home wrecker and the embarrassment it caused her.
“It’s sad because a year ago Ewan and his wife were in great shape and then he decided to throw it all away for Mary.
