Olivia Attwood reveals she no longer speaks to Love Island co-star Kem Cetinay as he’s got ‘an ego’

OLIVIA Attwood has revealed she no longer speaks to Kem Cetinay after claiming fame has changed him.

Despite the pair comparing their bond to that of siblings in the Love Island villa, the 26-year-old reality star has said they no longer keep in touch.

Asked if the former co-stars still spoke, she told magazine: “No. I always liked him, but this industry does something weird to men that it doesn’t do to women.

“The ego that comes with it, I just can’t…”

Cracks in their relationship began to show when a source told The Sun that Olivia had banned Kem from appearing in her reality show with boyfriend Chris Hughes, with whom she has since split.

A TV source said at the time: “Kem isn’t going to be filming for Chris and Olivia’s reality show.

“His breakup from Amber changed things; he would rather stay away from the project and give her the chance to be part of it.”

“His schedule is jam packed with Dancing On Ice training and presenting jobs so it works out better for him too. He will still watch the show and wishes Chris all the best with it.”

The show was given a serious shake-up earlier this month however, as Chris and Olivia announced they had split – with the Gloucestershire native dumping the blonde over the phone.

Speaking about their break-up, she divulged: “We’d had a two-minute phone call and he said, ‘I’m officially done’. But I didn’t take it seriously because I’ve had that a lot from Chris, he’s reactive.”

Meanwhile, since leaving Love Island Kem has landed a spot on Dancing On Ice and is tipped for more presenting roles – one of which could even see him double up with Scarlett Moffatt. 

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Kem said: “Quite a few people have said they can really imagine us presenting together and we’ve said it would be so much fun.

“I would definitely be up for working with her; we are similar and have good banter – we would be good doing it together, we have good chemistry.”
