GREY'S Anatomy actor Eric Dane has confirmed he and his his wife of 14 years Rebecca Gayheart are getting divorced.
Rebecca – who has starred in Scream 2 and Urban Legend – filed for divorce on February 23, according to TMZ.
In a statement to PEOPLE, Eric said: "After 14 years together we have decided that ending our marriage is the best decision for our family. We will continue our friendship and work as a team to co-parent our two beautiful girls as they are the most important thing in the world to us.

Despite the amicable ending, it’s fair to say the pair’s marriage has weathered many storms.

Then in 2009, a tape starring Eric, Rebecca and former Miss U.S. Teen Kari Ann Peniche appeared online.
The three were all nude and lounged in a hot tub whilst they discussed potential porn star named.
Mid-way through, Rebecca announced that she was “so high”.
Eric broke his silence on the incident in 2014, revealing: “We've all made mistakes. My one regret is that I got the person I love most wrapped up in all that: Rebecca. But we worked through it and put it behind us.
“We have two beautiful kids and our marriage is stronger than ever.”
Rebecca last posted a photo of her and Dane on her Instagram in December, enjoying a holiday with their daughters.
They also posed for a sweet family shot for Halloween in October.
