Topless Pete Doherty stumbles in the street as he’s helped into a hotel following Australian festival appearance
Pete followed a 12-step program in 2016 to become clean after years of drug addiction
PETE Doherty proves he's the bad boy of rock and roll as he's carried topless into a hotel following a festival performance in Australia.
The rocker can be seen pulling up his trousers in a desperate bid to cover his modesty.
Donning navy blue tracksuit bottoms, Pete gave nearby tourists a glimpse of his baggy pink boxers.
The 38-year-old rocker looked bloated and bleary-eyed as he returned from his appearance at the Sydney City Limits festival.
Getting lost in the spirit of rock and roll, Pete ditched his shirt and exposed his clean-shaven chest.
Pete completed the eye-catching look with battered trainers that looked as if they were once a brighter shade of white.
Pete added: "I was into psychedelic music from the Sixties, and I'd go to these underground clubs. There were loads of drugs around: weed, speed, LSD, but in the back of my mind there was always heroin."
Speaking of his bid for sobriety, Pete revealed: "I'm currently receiving treatment at the Hope Rehab Centre in Thailand. The program here is very closely connected to the 12 steps model, which as far as I can tell is the only thing that works, other than a lobotomy. It is a very peaceful place, and full of people I can trust."
