Who is Russell Grant?
Russell Grant, 67 was born in Hillingdon, Middlesex and grew up in a council house in the 1950s.
His parents both worked at Pinewood studios where his father was a set designer and his mother handled contracts.
Due to his parents' busy schedules he was mostly looked after by his grandparents.
In his early career he was a Redcoat at Butlins and an actor, starring in a variety of productions including Tom Brown's Schooldays alongside Keith Chegwin.
He has also appeared on stage and starred in the titular role for the Wizard of Oz revival at the London Palladium.
How did Russell Grant become an astrologist?
Russell's astrology career took off in 1978 after he compiled an astrological chart for the Queen Mother whilst running an exhibition for the British Astrological Association.
After being introduced to Princess Margaret and Diana he became known as the "Astrologer Royal."
As demand grew, he landed his first TV appearance on Yorkshire Television programme Extraordinary.
Later he had regular slots on Richard and Judy, This Morning and BBC's Breakfast Time where he presented the Your Stars section in the 1980s.
In 2010 he started offering an online Pet Psychic Service and has also presented his own zodiac themed celebrity quiz show Star Choice.
Russell has written several books on astrology and provides syndicated newspaper horoscopes.
What other TV shows has Russell Grant been in?
Russell has appeared in several reality TV shows including Strictly Come Dancing and Celebrity Masterchef.
His most memorable Strictly performance saw him fired out of a cannon and fly through the air attached by wires.
In 2006 he lost three stone by taking part in Celebrity Fit Club alongside journalist Carole Malone and darts player Bobby George.
He has also worked as a TV presenter for his shows Russell Grant's Sporting Scandals on ITV and The Russell Grant Show on Sky One.

Who is Russell Grant's partner Doug Beaumont?
Russell has been with his partner Doug Beaumont who is also his manager for forty years.
They met whilst Russell was performing at Blackpool theatre where Doug worked as a stagehand.
In 2009 the couple sold their 1.25m Gothic villa in Maentwrog and now live in a cottage in Snowdonia, Wales.
