Ewan McGregor spotted with his ex-wife day after split with lover revealed
EWAN McGregor visited his ex-wife last night – the day after reports that his new lover had left him.
The Star Wars actor was seen paying a visit to the Los Angeles home of production designer Eve Mavrakis, 51, hours after the revelation became public.
Eve was caught unaware by revelations in a US magazine that McGregor’s Fargo co-star Mary Elizabeth Winstead had dumped him.
A source close to Frenchwoman Eve – wed to the Trainspotting star for 22 years – told The Sun: “Her and Ewan speak very rarely and mainly about their children.
“This came as a shock – the family are still trying to process the news.
"Ewan upended their family life last year. If this is true, then there will be no quick-fix for the marriage.”
McGregor, 46, only filed for divorce from Eve last month.
He and Winstead, 33, met on the set of his US show Fargo early last year.
They fell in love and split up with their partners to be together.
In January, McGregor caused fury by thanking both his wife and Winstead, after winning a Golden Globe for his work on Fargo.
McGregor and Winstead had been living together.
But a source told US magazine Star: "Mary hated being labelled a home wrecker and the embarrassment it caused her.
“It’s sad because a year ago Ewan and his wife were in great shape and then he decided to throw it all away for Mary.
“Now it looks like he’s lost them both for good.”

Speaking at her home in Los Angeles, Eve, when asked about McGregor’s alleged love-split, told The Sun: “I don’t know anything about it.”
“I don’t have a reaction. Thank you.”
Her and McGregor’s daughter Clara posted a series of cryptic pictures on Instagram yesterday –including one of a horse next to a classic car, with the caption: “Which one would you ride?”
Representatives for McGregor and Winstead did not respond to repeated requests for comment.
