Paddy McGuinness’ wife Christine gives him another chance after spending cosy night with Nicole Appleton
PADDY McGuinness has been given another chance by wife Christine after his cosy night out with pop star Nicole Appleton.
The Take Me Out host, 44, has managed to win back mum-of-three Christine’s trust after she was left devastated when pictures emerged of her husband with his arm around the All Saints singer.
The Sun on Sunday revealed last week that the former Miss Liverpool model, 29, was left blindsided by her husband’s late-night antics after he told her that he was on a night out with pals.
And it left the couple holding strained crisis talks about their future together - with tensions between them only finally thawing this week.
A source close to them both said: “Things were really not good between the couple up until early last week and friends were left fearing for their marriage.
“They have had some very heated and emotional arguments over the last couple of weeks and Paddy obviously had a lot of explaining to do to Christine.
“Christine now believes her husband when he says that nothing romantic happened with Nicole and he has managed to win back her trust.
“The happiness and welfare of their children is the most important thing for both Christine and Paddy and they are determined to stick together as a family and move forwards.”
It is also understood that Christine is once again wearing her wedding rings, despite being pictured concealing her hands with gloves on Thursday.
Earlier this month Paddy was pictured cosying up to the All Saints singer, 43, while on a night out in Soho, London - five hours before he called it a night.
It is understood Christine, who was at home with their three kids, had no idea he and All Saints singer Nicole had struck up a friendship.
Singer Nicole then jetted off to the Maldives to put the crisis thousands of miles behind her.
She has still not publicly commented on the pictures since returning to her home in London.
Last night a representative for Paddy declined to comment.
