Kylie Jenner ‘picked and trademarked Stormi’s name MONTHS before giving birth’ so she could use it on new make-up range claim friends

KYLIE Jenner “picked and trademarked” her baby daughter’s name months before giving birth so she could use it on her new make-up range.
Insiders exclusively told The Sun Online the lengths 20-year-old Kylie went to so she could protect Stormi’s name and use it on her business empire.
A source explained: “Kylie’s been dreaming up baby names for around two years – as her best friend said in the pregnancy video, she’s wanted to be a mom forever.
“A new make-up range was already in the planning when she found out she was pregnant, so the idea came together over the pregnancy and when Kylie chose the name Stormi it was really early on.
“She had to decide months back what name she wanted so they could start working on the packaging and the theme for the new line.”
By trademarking Stormi, Kylie is also ensuring that no one will be able to profit from the already famous tot’s name.
Our insider added: “Because of the court battle they had with Blac Chyna, they can’t be too careful.
“There’s always someone who’ll want to make money off a Kardashian or Jenner name.
“When Stormi was born, everything was all ready to go – and now the range is preparing to launch, she couldn’t be happier.”
Kylie’s fans were thrilled yesterday when she revealed her new collection inspired by Stormi, who was born last month.
In addition to dubbing some of the palettes “Calm Before the Storm”and "”Eye of the Storm,” Kylie also named many of the individual shades after her new bundle of joy.
One eyeshadow is called “Star Baby” while another is named “Heaven Sent”.
New mum Kylie, who kept her pregnancy under wraps for the whole nine months, recently updated her followers about the family’s latest addition.
She told her millions of fans how her baby girl was doing “good” and admitted the tot “looks just like me when I was a baby”.
