Cheryl and Liam Payne upstaged by cheeky Haim singer during awkward Brit Awards interview
CHERYL and Liam Payne were upstaged by a cheeky member of Haim during an awkward Brits interview tonight.
The couple sat side by side as they were interviewed by host Jack Whitehall.
But as he joked with them about having a safe word during sex, the couple didn't notice that Este from Haim was pulling faces and playing up to the camera behind them.
As Cheryl and Liam laughed at Jack's jokes, Este was seen pouting her lips before mouthing 'call me' at the camera.
Twitter went into meltdown at her actions, with one viewer writing: "I can’t decide who was : the woman behind Liam and Cheryl or Liam and Cheryl.
Another added: "I don’t know about you but the already very sozzled girl in the background of that Cheryl and Liam chat just made that segment for me
Meanwhile another tweeted: "Did anybody else see that drunk queen/hero behind Cheryl and Liam during that interview? I want to be her best friend.
Cheryl and Liam were totally oblivious to the singer's antics as they were too distracted by Jack's cheeky chat.
The host referenced the fact Liam was going to be singing his duet with Rita Ora from the latest Fifty Shades of Grey movie later on in the show.
He said: "You're performing later, you're doing a song from the Fifty Shades of Grey movie.
"Sounds pretty saucy, is there a safe word?"
As Liam chuckled, he threw the question to Cheryl, 34, saying: "She knows that."
As Jack stuck the microphone in her face, Cheryl replied: "Don't stop".
