Gogglebox star Chris Butland-Steed has THIRD hair transplant in just two years
GOGGLEBOX star Chris Butland-Steed has undergone his third hair transplant in just two years.
The hairdresser - who appears on the hit Channel 4 series with his ex-boyfriend Stephen Webb - declared himself "the vainest man in the world" after having the operation at Manchester's Crown Clinic.
Before and after shots show Chris, 40, now has significantly more hair at the crown of his head following the surgery, which was performed by Doctor Asim Shahmalak.
As well as the reality star, the doctor has also worked his magic on Calum Best and TV doctor Christian Jessen.
Chris last visited the clinic in 2016, when he had 2,000 hair grafts transplanted into his balding crown - costing a pocket-burning £10,000.
The Gogglebox favourite started losing his hair when he was just 18-years-old and has admitted that it took a serious toll on his self-esteem.
In a bid to cover up his thinning hair, he spent hundreds on expensive wigs and toupées.
However, he found the glue used to attach the hair pieces was damaging the locks he had remaining and instead sought the help of a hair transplant.
Speaking after his surgery two years ago, he confessed: "I had significant baldness around my crown and this new procedure has filled in all those gaps.
"My first procedure was around the front of my scalp and my hairline."

He added: "I started losing my hair at a very early age and would be as bald as a coot now, just like my dad."
"As a hairdresser, I am acutely aware of the importance of having great hair and looking good. It can be heart-breaking and shatter your self-esteem."
